My name is Linda Williams and I have over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. I started my career with General Accident in 1991 and I very quickly realised that I had a flair for mortgage finance. Working initially within the estate agency arm of that company and then later within other mortgage establishments, I gained valuable experience in that market and found my niche in the new build sector.
It was whilst working for Meridian Mortgages that I first met Sarah and in 2011 we set up Mortgage Connect, a company that has since gone from strength to strength. Our company motto is “Making Life Simple” and we aim to do this for each and every one of our clients by providing the best possible service.
On a personal level, I was educated at Millfield School and then at the University of South Carolina. I swam for England at an early age, breaking both the Junior and Senior British records for 100 metres butterfly in 1981. The following year I had the honour of representing my country at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane and at the World Championships in Ecuador. I believe that my hard work and success in the swimming pool has led to the work ethic that I have today.
I am married with two grown-up children and in my spare time I like to walk and swim.
